Because you'll be playing games just like you could on a PS3 but because you haven't got a PS3 you won't know that a PS3 is far better, you'll just assume that because everyone else says it is, the XBOX is better.

i got a PS3...it's more awsome i only need HD plug in .....and Xbox never tryed it but it sounded cool and might buy it , hate the hard to understand controler but i had PS1 and Ps2 and PS3 and Nitndo....so far PS3 was Awsome and before itwas Xbox live witch was best thing out there and PS slim is just a wast o money like the mini PS2 witch was same but it would need alot of fix stuff and money , who cares , PS3 and xbox live or don't buy anything

The only decent system from Sony is the PS2 because i own one and its fucking awesome and not attempting to steal Microsofts light.

i gt a PS1 and PS2 and PS 3
my Sister got a WII , found it shitty but Awsome game style
might buy Xbox to complete the fun...but still the controller bugs me
