stupid question but are you sure it's a router? 
also, how do you connect to the internet? through one of those USB adapters that search for wireless or through a wireless card? Just to be sure try going outside or to a friends house and see if you can get internet there

lol? iphone uses...i dont even no what it uses, but like on my bros iphone he can get internet, but i cant...

| Does it say it's connected but it doesn't work? I get that sometimes on my iPod cause it's obtaining an IP. Make sure you have the WEP code if you need one.

yep wifi toggle is on...lol my phone is right next to my comp...and my comp is wired to my router and shit, but i still cant connect...WiFi is on

iPhones don't connect to the internet the same way an iPod Touch does. iPhones connect to the internet the same way that all phones do, through the tower. This makes it so that you can have access to internet anywhere you have a signal. It has nothing to do with your router.

wtf are u talking about, they connect like how iPod Touches connect...through a router though a wireless network
