Cheat Engine

After spending quite some time guessing and checking with CE 5.0 on RBO v3.00 and spending an extensive amount of time digging through old posts on this forum... I've decided to stop, think, and ask questions!
So... I start up CE 5.0, and RBO v3.00.. I target the game, and I get my mana, health, status, and skill points' addresses. When I try to get the address for str/agi/vit or any of the status levels, I find two addresses. Changing the value for that address does nothing, and changing both addresses also does nothing. Then I tried to use pointers, but problem being, everytime I change the value, the pointer disappears... strange.

But anywho, is there something that I'm missing? Should I be searching for the value differently? Thanks for all the help in advance
