Hahaha. I laugh in your face! All of those are false. Morrowind is by far a more superior game. Oblivion is for the scrubington pieces of FILTH. Morrowind is much much much larger, there is no fast-travel so you actually get to go through the great land that the developers spent there good time into, it is also longer. More user interface options? More Skills?! Do you have any idea how much they took out of Oblivion from Morrowind? No! You don't. More events? I'm guessing that you mean "quests" and again false! Morrowind has much longer, and better quests! In TES4 you could get through the mages guild without having to use magic... ONCE, however in Morrowind every "guild" is what it is, what it's supposed to be. Don't get me started on that lame ass excuse story-line for Oblivion, it's a piece of shit. In Morrowind some players were so absorbed by the content that they NEVER got to the end of the story.
Better Graphics? Not anymore, Morrowind is much better.

Although the magic in Oblivion is very similar to that of Morrowind, some spells and effects were changed in Oblivion. Key differences include:
Significant spells that are not present in Oblivion: Mark/Recall, Levitation, Jump, SlowFall, Lock and Divine/Almsivi Intervention. Otherwise Morrowind has all the spells oblivion has, and more.

I chuckled at this thread. Oblivion has horrible combat. You stab someone 5 times in the head and see their health bar thingo go down by a millimeter.

Thank god it isn't that way in Morrowind. Although NPCs can dodge your attacks when you do hit them, their health goes down considerably.
Also realism is involved if you get hit with a giant war-axe to the face, you're dead in one hit.

Morrowind's is worse.

You can't block manually, you miss when you're supposed to hit, sneak doesn't work, you can't use magic and melee at the same time, and mana doesn't regenerate unless you rest.

That being said, Morrowind is the better game overall. Oblivion does have a better engine, though.

I have to agree with the magic and sneak park, but there are mods for better combat realism. Fair Magicka for example gives you a 1% regenerative time every second.
