| is the sword a d 2h/1h from runescape? Also it looks ok but I don't think rotation at that angle looks good.

Shouldn't he attempt to make a 3D sword instead of an extruded 2D object that doesn't look like anything? Or at least use a different 2D picture that will look better. I mean that way he can actually learn something.

Round the edges, make it more cylindrical.
EDIT: Is it supposed to be a sword or is it supposed to be a lightsabor?
