server 2008. using windows 7 RTM now and my server 2008 SP2 on the same hardware runs faster still. i'm guessing once server 2008 R2 RTM comes out for MSDN which is how i'm going to get it, it's going to run godly ass

Fun story is that Kruë is saying Vista is shit just because everyone else does. He's also only insulting win2000 because he assumes that it's bad because it's quite old. Another fun story is that he actually has no idea what he's talking about and doesn't realise that OP just wants help, not some stupid dumbfuck that thinks he knows everything about operating systems.

My personal opinion is Windows 7. It doesn't need such a good computer (Believe it or not) and it's better than Vista and XP in my opinion. Win2000 is apparently alot more stable etc/. etc/. and if you don't care about looks you should probably use that.

I didn't say win2000 was no good. I only called truicido a douche for thinking of something i didn't think of. No i dont think vista sucks because everyone else does, I've tested vista.

Actually, it depends on the hardware you're running. If you have top-of-the-line hardware, Win7 will perform faster than XP. If you have average to poor hardware, XP will perform faster than Win7.
