Wow i totally did not know that feature was in the RC. does it function like Xp, or is it glitchy?

It works pretty well. Obviously not for heavy games or anything, but for the app that doesn't seem to work right under the new OS...

Ok so i followed karakawe's advice (ty btw) and i downloaded the vm and image and it works! but there's a gripe i cant enable cleartype
i checked all the settings (even the registry) and it wont enable
btw this is win7 x64
help?

Okay, I found two possible answers to the ClearType dilemma on Neowin. The first is a registry tweak for enabling ClearType on RDP connections, and the other is a user comment involving the use of XdN Tweaker. Hope one of those works alright.
Just a note, a little more than a day ago Microsoft put out the release candidate for XP mode. (link)
They recommend a full uninstall and re-install from the beta of both Virtual PC and XP Mode. |
