Does anyone know what the ideal settings for the brush in adobe flash for drawing? What are the effects that the strokes get when you use these settings?

Don't set smoothing too high, try it at 40 or so and there are barely any settings so you should just play around with it until you find what you're looking for

| If you are going to get into drawing try out Adobe Illustrator as well. Both flash and Illustrator have their respective advantages. See which one you like most. I must say though, flash is a bit less technical and a bit faster. It all depends on what type of effect you are looking for.

I crank it up to 100 and use the smallest brush size, with lots and lots of strokes.
Cool effect.

It's easy to get certain types of effects with different brushes, stroke sizes and smoothing settings. Here's a simple one.
