i just think the first one is too.. detailed maybe.. i think easy logo's look better because people remember it better

I think you whould make the arrow completely represent the word "up".

Change the size of the "U" to the height of where the arrow head comes in.

I like the new design but the U is a bit thin. Try panning out the arrow or the U.

I like the intergration of the two into the arrow in the first one, imo it is better than the rest although I think the 3d aspect of it is a tad 'fat'.

The current one is definitely the best, but I think you fattened the U a bit too much.
