When you go to your local movie theater, how many DPI do they play the movies at?
Have they gone HD yet or what.

probably depends on the movie theatres or film, dunno.
Maybe google knows though Confused

DPI woulddn't be a good measurement to compare.

As far as resolution goes, the theater in my local mall still uses film projection.

However we have Megaplex 13 and there is a huge screen which is played in 720p or possibly 1080p.

Yeah all theatres I go to still use projection, no upgrading yet. However I normally go to the same theatre so I'll have to check another one next time I go.
