|
|
Okay, so like 2 days ago, I just reformatted my computer and everything went out all fine, but now when I try to reformat again (testing) the "Press anykey button" won't show up anymore and it just go to the Window XP loading screen even though I got my Window XP Professional disc inside the CD drive.
What's wrong with that?
I try popping in the CD when my computer is loaded onto the desktop and the CD drive runs and the Window XP disc screen starts, but when I restart my computer the CD drive won't run my disc on the "press anykey button", is something wrong with my CD drive not running when booting up?

By looking at it, of course it won't boot from your CD as your HD comes first.
Make the 4th device as #1
HD and #2
For the other 2 disable it or whatever does not matter.

| You must have a OEM based machine like Dell or so. Encounter that sometimes myself (working on other peoples PCs), but it's still better off that you change it.

Nah, I build this computer.
Probably it's the Window XP Professional OEM CD?

Meh, I wouldn't worry about it. Fix your boot order and you'll be set.
