Can't be distributed or it will be like this: 8(a+b)=8a+8b

8a + 8b = 8b + 8a
they equal each other, I can't remember all of the properties

There is also addition involved. Don't flame if you can't support what you are saying. There are only these two choices.

Yes, but if you have multiplication, and addition. Its multiplication. And why the fuck are you learning this now? Schools out in like a week, at least for me.
You obviously didn't pay attention in school. This also isn't the place to ask help for homework.
Edit: Read the fucking rules

Good thing it's a test (to mod: make rule edit please). There also could have been the option of commutative property multiplication over addition, yet it wasn't on the test. Also, addition came first, PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponents,......) We do the parenthesis first, inside there's addition.. But I think you distribute some shit. No I didn't pay attention in school, yet somehow I got all 4.0's. This is for the finals, I forgot all about this, it was taught last year, some review. Even though multiplication doesn't always rule over addition like you said, I will go with what you said (multiplication), I will get the test back on Thursday, and if I don't ace this fucking test I'm blaming it on you lol. Thanks
Edit: nvm, o-o you're a dumbass I'm not going to listen to your shit and not ace my test.

It's addition, since it is exactly the same, except a + b, so the commutative property of addition states that:
Two variables added can be reversed and still have the same result.
Edit: For those that think multiplication is correct, you are not.
They do not switch orders of multiplication variables (or numbers in this case).
Also, for those confusing with the distributive property, it would be:
8a + 8b = 8b + 8a
It still is reversing the variables in the equation, where the variables are just switched.
Addition, period.

Thanks, I will trust you and my Asian friends on math.
