I'm not an art critic, seeing as I think everyone has different opinions on things.
I for one, like it.
I'm not to fond of the "What're you lookin at?"
I don't know, there is just something I don't like about how the text is.
But overall, I like it..

Hi Snowfox.. You're back? I like the sig. I probably should have used other colours but that's more because I don't like yellow.
@ Connor: Stop bitching. Just because you make abstract signatures doesn't mean you have to give criticism about people using brushes.

Like you said before, Brushes and renders have become a "stereotypical thing" for signatures. Do i sense contradiction?... | No contradiction, but I'm not going to bitch about the renders because that's just how sigs are made nowadays.

Actually it is his art. Or do I really need to make the brush/pen (when drawing by hand) to call it my art? I totally have to reject this. Sorry
That is how I feel about it. |
You can use the default hard brush to draw, that's the exact same thing as using a pen/brush. You can use the default brushes for effects and such etc/.etc/. But, when it gets to the point that the entire thing is just downloaded brushes stamped on a canvas, that's not your work.

Actually it does. Everyone uses renders and most uses downloaded effects/brushes what is ur point exatcly? As moderator stated above they are made for this..

Thats how you define it. Renders, Brushes are available to download so people can use them. Don't see why people are whining and crying about it. Its like saying, oh lulululs, you used adobe photoshop you didn't do anything. | John it's nothing like that. Downloading a brushpack and stamping a few brushes all over a canvas is NOT that person's work. Using a render isn't even that person's work if you think about it, but renders have become a stereotypical thing to have in a signature and it's just what sig makers are expected to do. Nothing in this signature was made by SnowFox. Not one thing. |
This is where Graphic Design and art separates. |
Indeed it does, but I have very strong opinions on things such as this. |
yeah but he is right in something I guess
look , brush packs, renders, etc etc are tools for the graphic designer and the job of a graphic designer is to place them and tweak them in the right place in order to get a nice outcome, its not like if the graphic designer didn't do anything. He didn't do the tools but made the outcome possible.
so, its his work, not his art. |
Actually it is his art. Or do I really need to make the brush/pen (when drawing by hand) to call it my art? I totally have to reject this. Sorry. |
wrong its not art.
yes you have to draw it in order to be your art and not copy draw it, you have to create it in order to be your art
art = creation
art != graphics
