Well, I'm looking into jobs that art related. I'm currently taking a graphics designing course and still trying to decide on what I plan to become.

Here's my list so far:

Civil engineering

Photography

Architect

Graphic designing

Commercial selling? (no idea proper name for it)

Suggestions?

graphic designer and web designers are the most payed nowdays

for a complex web design that takes you lets say 1 week of work, you can sell it for over 10 000$ deppending to the company you are making the web for (( prices are high like this mostly when you have to create systems, and pay systems are the ones where you can abusively raise your price ))

for graphic designer, they get paid usually good too because they are the one in charge the companies looks good or bad to the public.

photography nowdays its more like a hobby, professional art photographers are not very requested nowdays as far as I know...

you can get lots of money by being an architect but works at least I find it the hardest because its not just the design of the house, its also making sure that its strong enough to be built.

and civil engineering , I dont see how does that applies to Digital art >.>

civil engineering its making the water systems and electricity systems of a house isn't it? I'm not sure, sorry.

True. Civil engineering is designing and construction of bridges, building etc. A bit like architecture which has a small element of designing i guess.

@S3NSA

Would you mind showing me some of your work?

Also, what are the main programs graphic designers use? Adobe?

Civil Engineering and architecture have nothing to do with what you are doing, is more technical than you think >.>

I think it takes 10 years to be a full payed architect. Plus being a architect is harder thane being a lawyer or a doctor.

Not sure about there but here it takes 3-6 years or so, plus is easy to get a job here if you know how to use autoCAD.

My other career choice was going down the medical route to hopefully become a plastic surgeon working with reconstructive surgery. The length of the training and education required put me off, however I still have interests in anatomy and human biology.
