Do you think they are real or just another myth created by humans?

My thinking is this.

Someone thought of bringing someone back to life. But frightened to do so, they began to think of what might happened if it failed. The word spread, and eventually, a picture was made, a rotten, dead man, driven by rage and anger of an unknown source. And somewhere along the line, people began to think that they feed on living souls such as humans brains and hearts. Then, other people started adding more such as green skin, ripped chests, ability to use a knife, axe, gun, etc etc...

This is obviously a myth.
Yet the story has been passed so many times, it's almost become a fact that isn't.

For instance, when you go down to your basement, you see nothing in the window right? You don't worry. But when I tell you that I once saw a dead face in my window when I was home alone, staring at me, would you be uncomfortable going downstairs? Absolutely!

For the most part i think that zombies a fake but something like in the movie 28 days later where a rage virus took over i think could definitely happen, IMO. But it really does matter on what you think a zombie is.

Zombies are definitely made up by hallucinations, panic, illusions, or even people dressing up dead to scare others. In my opinion Zombies are lower in the belief of things true than unicorns because of me seeing people believing that unicorns existed and is an extinct species of this world.

The living dead are fake, but in some cases there have been different views on Zombies. In some movies/games they're just people with a special case of rabies that causes symptoms similar to what people think zombies would have (looking at Left 4 Dead). A form of rabies that could cause something like that is possible, but the living dead isn't.
