Wasn't a school murder planned out because the downers who did it (bless their souls) played some very graphical violent game?
You know... one of those big ones where they failed to kill everybody.

Its already been accepted by countless researchers in the social sciences that video games have no influence on kids to the point in which it causes them to act in certain extreme ways.
In fact, its accepted by most that kids will grow out of it by the time they reach adulthood.
Being a serial killer(psychopath) is simply the result of your childhood (or other time in life). Something happened in your life that caused you to lose sight of humanity(extreme abuse, neglect, etc..). The psychopath cares only about himself and disregards other humans. No video game has ever caused such psychological damage to cause such a thing. And no video game will ever be created and released to the public for the simple fact that it would be considered unethical to release such a thing into the public.
TL;DR: Video games are just games. They don't cause you to do anything.
(im not making this up, basing it on years of research by countless researchers)
 | There still are plenty of things saying they are bad though. Many of them show how little the writers know about video games in the first place. For example: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13846_3-10034541-62.html |
Please tell me how playing a video game led to a couple of idiots killing a cat in a microwave?
Please oh please show me some evidence to support this claim. | And he thought that the Wii would be the console with the most violence? He clearly doesn't even know what he is talking about.

Please tell me you are trolling/joking?
But for the sake of argument, let me just play along here.....
Just because a 3 year old was playing a war game, it does not mean that he will become the next hitler. It does not mean that he will pick up a gun and start shooting everything in sight. It means nothing.
Again, there are stronger factors in life that cause these things.
Video games isnt one of them.

Because of that, your entire argument is invalid.

Video games isnt one of them. | I don't think you're seeing my place in this argument. I am agreeing with you on that video games are harmless. I am disagreeing with you when you say that there aren't a ton of people who think otherwise.

My bad, was confused over something you had said before.
>_>
Misunderstood what you meant by:
"there are plenty of things that say they are bad though"
