Run Obliv.exe to enter a password. Slayer.exe is not there just to look pretty.

didn't get far all I found out is
if(something = 16) then you get right password otherwise you have to try again.
something about Deza.ent getting deleted?

Ah, if you create a file named Deza.ent containing
0x0F,0xA7,0xEC,0x5F,0xA0,0x9C,0xFA,0xE5,0x3C,0xBD,
0xEC,0x3F,0xDB,0xE9,0xCB,0xFE - it will say you've got the right password.
but i asked Dark_Walk and apparently it is irrelevant.

If you get the right password the information in Deza.ent will contain:
0x0F,0xA7,0xEC,0x5F,0xA0,0x9C,0xFA,0xE5,0x3C,0xBD,0xEC,0x3F,0xDB,0xE9,0xCB,0xFE
The point of this is to get the password not for it to tell you that you got it right by changing things.
@pkedpker:
Yes, the password is 16 bytes.
Anyone want any hints?

there's some loopy thingy, but that's not the answer. it takes each letter entered though. maybe that's a start? probably not.

Apparently Obliv.exe executes Slayer.exe after you enter the password, attempted to eavesdrop the iostreams with all negative results..
