I really wanted to keep it easy on the eyes without a lot of shit, so I gave it 4 layers because I figure it should be simple, because it's a logo.

No, he's asking the OP to tell the guy to get professional help. (The site isn't a massive collection of free logos. You go and request a logo and one of the artists in the community creates one and then you pay.)
