Ugh, isn't that jailbreaking? I really wish I could do that but for some reason my computer rejects my iPod in DFU mode and when I unplug it, it turns back on and I have to restore it on another computer -_-

Try holding down the buttons for longer.
It's the main error that most people have.

Also, if your computer has some sort of error, make sure you have the latest updates.

I get the standard white screen on my iPod when I put it into DFU mode though. The only problem I have is that it doesn't show up in iTunes when I'm supposed to restore it to the custom .ispw that the program (QuickFreedom) makes.

try to unplug then put it back in. if that doesn't work then put the custom ispw. file and restore it on another computer w/ it.
