Ok so i've installed Cod 4 and i've installed all the patches.When i try to start Cod 4,it just go as far as turning my screen black then exits and says iw3mp has stop working.How can i fix this error because i got this computer to play Cod 4.The only mode that works is single player.Multiplayer doesn't work at all even on safe mode

I've running windows vista home premium 64 bit
1.8Ghz AMD Phenom x4 9150e Quad-core Processor
4Gbs Ram
GeForce 9800 Gt 1024mb

Try plugging something in to the mic jack or change the audio settings to the lowest

yep, this is probably it.

COD4 MP has some problems with some onboard sound if I remember right.
