My friend Jarrett turned 14 today, but when we got drunk he ended up puking some of his stomach lining up is what it looked like.
Alcohol IS bad for you, it's just your choice as to if you want to drink or not. Don't let these idiots tell you it's not, we've all seen the effects of a heavy drinker.
Drinking is bad. Drinking is also good, but not for your health.
You more than likely won't have a hangover being so young. |

It's proven that drinking alcohol at such a young age (in excess) can screw up the development of your brain. It's like drinking coffee at a young age... it stunts your growth.
You guys on this forum seem pretty young... (I'm 24). I drink too much. |

No, 6 pints is a warm up. It's when you drink 6 pints before noon like me on the weekends that its too much. |

I often tend to overdo it when I go clubbing and find myself in the toilet with my head in the pan. That only lasts around 2-3minutes mind, get another drink (doesn't have to be alcoholic) and the taste will be gone, just don't breathe back through your nose sharply.
There's nothing wrong with being drunk, just don't get paralytic. I've never gone far enough to merit that and having known and seen people that have it's a strong enough incentive to know when to quit. I always enjoy a smoke when I drink, mainly because it makes me feel twice as drunk, without having to shell out on more drinks.
Just do what you want, if you don't want to get drunk then don't, if you do then go and have fun trying new drinks, learn from your mistakes etcetera. Don't let people bully you into doing what you don't want to though. _________________

I'm that asshole that can drink, and drink and drink some more. I often spend $80+ on myself alone and even get drinks bought for me... and if you would have talked to me this time last year I would have also added X into the mix and Cocaine, but I stopped doing that stuff last year. |

You're only 13 and already drinking, stop trying to grow up so fast.
Drinking at a young age is bad for your body, and has been suggested to stunt your growth. Drinking in moderation as an adult isn't bad, and can even be beneficial to your body, but you're 13...
Also chances are you weren't even close to drunk, you just thought you were. Which brings me to my next point, when you're drunk you'll probably have no idea how to handle yourself, and you'll make an ass of yourself. |

@Cheetah
They're not exactly trying to grow up fast, nor trying to look cool, they're just wanting some fun.
They don't exactly go to a bar and start drinking some beer in front of a load of people pretending they fit in.
They do it in a group, not with adults, together. Well, usually.
I don't mind kids drinking as long as they're staying the fuck out of people's sites.
The thing that pisses me off is kids smoking, I saw a fucking seven year old smoking outside some big chainstore the other day, now THAT is trying to grow up fast. |

Drinking isn't something a 13 year old should be doing for fun, sounds like he has a fucked up life at home or is trying to fit in. Alcohol should be the last thing on a kid's mind. |

They're not kids, they're teens.
They should know how they do things by now. |

who said he's doing it for fun? its not binge drinking. mabey he was drinking because it was a party. and it dosen't sound like he's got a fucked up life at home. i'm 14 and i drink. theres nothing wrong with it. and why should it be the last thing on a kids mind? mabey we all dont want to be fucking boring and study, study, study, study every night of our lives. _________________
