I was actually forced to download Java because I found an extremely useful application that I will need in the near future and I saw that I needed some APIs that are in the javax.microedition import, but I can't seem to find that anywhere.

I've downloaded that ME2 one, but it still gave me an import error using the BlueJ compiler. Experienced java people help?

If you are not using IDEs specially designed for Java ME SDK, then the default compiler it'll use is the Java SE compiler, which wouldn't find the package. Look here: java. sun. com /javame /sdk /index.jsp
