yes well, here we have an SAT during middle school (most ages 10-14)
and then theres a real SAT during your final school years.
The last one is used by universities to admit new students.

wait, are you talking about like a test for admission to highschool?
AND, yes the rest of the world does teach much more advanced subjects at younger ages than the school in the U.S. do.
