i know perl or at least i knew perl better before they updated it like 5 times since i last learned it..but they try not to make breaking changes..which is unlike microsoft.. so there kinda cool ... there are perl guru's and even perl OS's there is a vast quantity of information available about perl on the net.. the best way to solve a problem is solving it yourself.. :d otherwise unless you have a step by step and explanation of code as it is coded.. << (a book maybe) you would have to read that book and then with that initial knowledge you gained you start rereading the book and example's and start following along picking up the pieces necessary to do your required task but also learning other useful things along the way. then now that you have learned the "other" things along the way and now your project(s) is getting more complex and you no longer have to refer the book and you now have are a solidbase in which to start "adventuring" the net finding interesting tidbits to learn from..

I await you down that road my friend.. ;}

It doesn't take that long unless it has a captcha.

A tool is a tool. One could use a brute forcer to uncover political corruption, one could use it to steal credit card numbers. Same thing goes for guns, knives, cars, etc.
