What do you mean install Icon's? Do you mean you want to Windows 7 icon's for example....

like replace original icons to custom ones.

I am really having trouble with replacing winamp icons especially.

One way is to just rightclick on the shortcut and press change icon.

Ohh use Resource Hacker.....
http://angusj.com/resourcehacker/
Install it then run it...
Load the file and on the left pane you will see an icons folder...
right click the icon and click replace resource and select new icon...
Then Log off and On and it should change...
