And what case have you got?
Its a big card. I had an mini tower and it was too small for my HD4850, and it caused it to get really hot

That's my case.
I was wondering because someone tried to install a 8600gts and he said it was interfering and the computer won't boot.
He said he tried with two of these cards, but i am assuming it was defective because they took it out of the site.
Help?

If the card fits in your case, it should be compatible with your power supply.
The recommended minimum is a 500W Power supply unit, which you have.

It is going to be from newegg.
Do they have refund policy?
The problem is i'm from Mexico, and i'm going to make my aunt buy it and then bring it over here.
But, i think they have 15 days maximum and my aunt comes at max in a month.

The wattage on a PSU means NOTHING. Can you give us a link to the PSU? Or, open your case and look on the sticker on your PSU. Tell us how many amps it has on the 12v rail(s). Also, check to see if your PSU has 2 6-pin PCI-E connectors.
