my retard of a cousin bought a computer and wants to know what OS he should use. i suggested Vista Ultimate x64, can i get your advice/opinions, w.e, 'cause i don't usually play around with hardware and am not sure if he should get a 64bit or 32.
specs (copied and pasted from him):
| Code: | Dual Core - 2.6GHz
CPU: intel 5200
MB: ASUS P5KPL-CM
9500GT 1GB
4GB RAM
550W PSU (skip) |
for light gaming and whatever the fuck else he does until he breaks it. xD

i still reckon a 64-bit version of vista. i think it kinda has to be vista because all his drivers and shit are vista and i really cbf spending much time on him.

Windows Vista 64bit.
According to the web
Windows 7 will be the last OS to run native 32bit apps.
The one after Windows 7 will be 64bit only with a 32bit emulation layer.
