Antec Sonata III
EP45-DS3L
Intel Q6600
512MB ATI 4850
4GB Kit 800 MHz Apacer RAM
Thermaltake Blue Orb II
Seagate SATA 500GB HDD
SATA Pioneer 216

To run on 64 bit Vista Home Premium.

Anything that could be changed and not raise the price?

Im guessing you could get a 750GB Samsung SATA for around $130AUD, if you look in the right place.

You could easily get a 1TB for that much. (Assuming this is USD.)

No, it's Australian Dollars, though I have seen a 1TB for $150AUD.

Yeah, AUD. When I posted I was in a bit of a rush but now I'll list it properly.

Case: Antec Sonata III - $187.00
Mobo: EP45-DS3L - $175.00
CPU: Intel Q6600 - $289.00
GPU: 512MB ATI 4850 - $239.00
RAM: 4GB Kit 800 MHz Apacer - $69.00
Cooling: Thermaltake Blue Orb II - $45.00
HDD: Seagate SATA 500GB - $89.00
DVDRW: SATA Pioneer 216 - $31.00

Prices are all from http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf.

I don't need a bigger HDD than 500GB and if I eventually do need more space I'll just buy a second one.

Nah, a long time ago I got a 4GB thumbdrive from there for $30 or so, and not long after when we were buying a new family computer I told my dad that building it piece by piece is far far cheaper. He asked where I would buy the parts, and I said internet. He refuses to buy over the internet however, and he said 'No, we'll buy locally. That MSY place looked like it had lots of computer parts when I went there recently,' and so I Googled MSY, and first result had http://www.msy.com.au/. Razz
