What if the online alias is something a lot of people use like "Link," or "iNcorrection."

iNcorrection isn't used at all but it is a word acording to Google :]

yeah you should do a better job than tracing someone back to a corporate tool like myspace thru their photobucket. you wont find much. what kind of fucking idiot would put their phone numbers on myspace?

First: Google his name. Google his email. Google his location.
Result: Myspaces with an location (Chicago, for example), selfmade sites and maybe even youtube pages.

Second: Search in the yellow pages for his address, and then for his father's name (or last name)
Result: Exact location

Third: Ask a mod for his IP
Result: IP if the mods like you.

Final: Post everything you have in a thread and add [Dox] <name here> to the title.

then it takes a bit more, digging; past alias', talk on family to determine if they're divorced and if so which side of the family they live with, other interests, search variations of their alias' with that interest etcetera.

What you have to remember is the people you usually pull dox on are faggots and annoying. The type of people who are clean and tidy about their information usually aren't the people that result in being targets.

The methods you use are generic to begin with but you use different ones fo different people depending on what you find.
