I thought it is a great anime. Around ep 10 I think is where the anime is awesome. Trust me.

I agree.
Episodes 1 through 5 weren't enough to keep my intrigued entirely. However, after this the story picks up, new characters are introduced and quite frankly it turns around and becomes one of the greatest animes of all time. Robots or not.
