|
|
I have a 48x48 icon that I want to use to replace the mozilla icon (because it looks kick ass) but I use programs to set it up as an icon file, but every time I try to use it, it shrinks it down to a crappy 32x32
any ideas on how I can increase the amount of pixels Length and Width (with out lowering the resolution because that just makes everything look pixelated and up close)
+Rep for any one who can help me with my little dilema.
[Please an ty.]

for xp:
display properties (you can just right click screen and go properties) > Appearance Tab > Effects Button
a window will pop-up, tick "use large icons".

I'm on vista and whenever I want to resize, I just click on my desktop, hold Ctrl, and scroll with the wheel on my mouse. Scroll up for larger icons, and down for smaller .

In my opinion, Vista has too many display options for folders. Don't know if anyone else out there thinks the same, but yeah. Who needs those gigantic icons (unless you physically need them to see them).
XP:Right click Desktop > Properties > Appearance tab > Advanced > Item dropdown: Icon > Change size.
