Ofcourse something could go wrong but if you follow the instructions it shouldn't, also it's good to have your Driver cd's when you're done.

why would you leave the malware on your computer for years?
also, where are you getting these "warez" you're installing? If you're not careful, installing dodgy shit will put you back at square 1.
you should scan everything you download before running it, use virtual machines for keygens etc. too...
Infact, fuck it... you're too computer illiterate to use a pc, buy a mac.

is there a recovery CD that you have? if there is just boot off it and choose to reinstall and format. that should install all the drivers for your computer also, back to factory standards.

1) Get the operating system's installation disk/image.
1a) If you downloaded a disk image, burn it to a blank disk by using an image burning program. I reccomend IMGBurn. Once the image is burned to disk, it is an installation disk. Make sure the image you download is bootable.
2) Pop in your installation disk and restart your machine. After your BIOS checks shit out, it'll ask you to press any button to boot from CD.
2a) If it doesn't ask you to boot from CD and loads window, restart the PC and go into the boot menu at start [Usually something like F12.] and select your optical drive.
3) Go through the menus. F8 to accept the license agreement. I forgot the key to skip the 'repair' console. Just read. Eventually you'll be presented with your partitions and shit. Delete the current active partition [if you have other partitions and you know their function (storage, etc) delete as you wish.] Just highlight D>ENTER>L.
4) Select the RAW partition that has been left behind. Format it for the NTFS.
5) Automatic from here. Just make sure to come back to input your keys and shit.
Since it is a CD from your manufacture, you'll get your drivers preloaded for you, so you don't have to worry.
