Cheat Engine

So I look at my cheat engine folder every once in a while and I've noticed that cheat engine will save all the addresses to its folder but will not delete them and this takes up to 3 gigs of space sometimes. Is there a CE function to auto delete these or do i have to delete them every time? I do realize that they are only temp files but for some reason every once in a while big ones will appear that never delete.

when you normally close ce by clicking the close button or any other normal way of closing ce, those temp files will get deleted.
But if you reboot without closing ce, or close it with taskmanager, they will not get deleted

Ahh thanks, I did close it normally but i closed it while it was terminating a scan so that would explain it.

even more. just do a binary scan for the value 0 in a full game.

let's say such a game uses 800MB ram (so 6710886400 bits)
80% of it exists out of bits with the value 0. (so 5368709120 results)
storing each bit address takes 8 bytes
so 5368709120*8 bytes=40GB

wow... yeah tha;s really much hehe. lucky i have 120 gb free xD from a 320 gb hdd...
haha lets make a notepad file that has 40 gb xD
