Vista slow's you down if you have a weak processor and RAM but its knows to magically make you faster if you have at least a dual core and 3GB+ RAM I tried Windows XP x64 on my system it was ssssssllllllllooooowwwwwww.....but Vista does good with controlling my Quad-Core so it really depends on your system if its going to slow you down or speed you up.. _________________

My vista uses 750mb of RAM on low usage ( -super fetch, -nice graphics)....
Only high load it uses no more than 1.25gb.
When i am running a guest operating system it uses no more than 1.75gb...
But as long as you have a dual core and atleast 1.5gb you'll be fine.
Vista is really not the CPU extensive though... _________________

yeah i like windows vista now with its new service pack 2.0 its A LOT BETTER!! you cant get service pack 2.0 though i had a microsoft worker do it for me because i know him really well it will go public in about 4 month _________________
