So what, you want to find a way around the block? (if there is a block)
If you don't have a block you can always just hide the programs and files so there is no possible way he can find them. Assuming he is not computer smart.
Which one do you want to do?

Do you really want a laptop?
You can find something better for the same price in a regular desktop. Also, that one is sickly overpriced.

Oh man..Jst...
It is not better. That computer can't handle anything. It can barely handle Vista , if it comes with it. Actually, it might even explode as soon as it tried to run it. (Joke..)
I'm not going to flame you for two reasons.
1) Your trying.
2) I hate cursing.
But do some research before you say anything. Want to learn some more about computers? just PM me or someone who knows more than me. I'm pretty sure everyone would be more than happy to help.

you have obviously never owned a low-end PC. although it may not run vista perfectly, it still is a good rig for that price. the laptop im on has specs much lower than that, and it runs XP normally. also, dont get so fucking snotty and act superior.

Ouch.
My computer is lower than that, and it runs XP perfectly. You think you have a worse computer than me? try me.
I said if VISTA was the OS. Also, what do you mean run it perfectly? it will run horrible. Unless you use vista tiny. Then you can run it pretty good.
Also, the price online is actually $700 (694.97-not including taxes/shipping) dollars. When you go to checkout it MAKES you buy some warranty. You can find a better one for the same price.

Yes... Everyone gives warranties. If not from the store (Best Buy, Circuit City) you get an automatic 1 month warranty. For free. In case your product came malfunctioned.
I would rather get a desktop than a laptop. Way cheaper.

One thing, are you fucking blind ? It gives you an option where it says no thanks. Another thing, hp has its own warranty. http://h40059.www4.hp.com/warranty/support/tc.php
