Was listening to it a few nights ago and then this mornign i went to take it to school. Had about 3/4 battery left when i checked. I turned it off and when I got to school it wouldnt turn on. I charged it and there is still no response. I have no idea whats wrong. I didnt disconnect it before doing so with iTunes but it just wont run!!! I tried to restore it but still nothing!!!

just restart it:

if itouch hold home or power until it says: power off, then slide the arrow to turn it off.

if other, do the following:
make sure it is unlocked.
then lock it, unlock it, lock it, and unlock it again
now hold home and select
