So i'm writing a quest for a French mmorpg, but i'm stuck..

This is the story until now in short:

Weired village
Boss fight
Enter house
Locked in house
House gets set on fire
You faint because of the smoke (but also because the house collapses on top of you)
This is where i'm stuck..
I can't find any ideas to continue..

Like, how is he gonna get out of there?
Where is he gonna wake up?
It could be something like someone else saved him out of the collapsed, burning house while he was unconscious, but that's unoriginal...

The mmorpg is about swords, demons, half-human-half-animal, magic, no gunpowder, monsters,...

It would be awesome if you guys could post some ideas to help me out!

He wakes up in a place where his mother died, 12 years ago, and finds a note nearby.

He opens it and it says that he has the abilty to teleport to places he's been before.

He later finds out that there is a war between people of his type and those of another.

He wakes up all wet, and the fire and house is only ashes, then a strange light appears in front of him and 3 guys pop out to tell him they are his guardians,and that everytime he is about to die, they save him, but their powers are limited.

Nah, kill off the protagonist in the beginning of the game. Nobody would have seen it coming.

Mabey you could write the guy wakes up and he is in an old wize wizards house and he tells you about some dragon and you have to kill it

Here's mine:

He woke up being tied to his back on a pole with many others too. Around him are an army of Minotaurs, some are on wagons riding on a beast that is pulling those poles. a moment later after when he fully regain conscious and his thoughts, he realize that many around him are from that wired villages and probably many others too
