I don't understand step 2 for the tutorial of Cheat Engine 5.3. Can anyone help me out?

not to be mean..but how can you not understand step 2.
like if it was step 7 or 8 i could understand u. but this is step 2...

they get confused at step 2 cause they dotn click new scan. and hence cant see unknown initial value.

in step 2 you don't even have to click on new scan (it's the step where you scan for a exact value and change the value to 1000)
