My university is basically forcing me to study abroad, and I've decided to pick America since it's been a while since my last visit. I need to apply before my next year starts, so I need some information on good universities where I can apply as a transfer student. Since I am somewhat unfamiliar with the universities of your nation, I need some advice from the americans here. I only have a few rules which I was to uphold:
#1 Not in Texas (fatties)
#2 No gang territory
#3 Fairly liberal surroundings (A church bell at 5 AM equals someone getting choked)
#4 Somewhere in or close to the city
Thanks in advance,
Ani

Doesn't matter, any GOOD university within the nation is good as long as good recommendations, and upholds the ruleset above.

Because I wasn't planning on walking around with a sign that says "FREE TIBET!" for twenty weeks.

Go to Florida.
Btw, I do'nt think you're ever going to find any place that'll ring church bells at 5, I've never heard church bells before, but then again I'm an atheistfag.
florida has hot chicks and nice weather, it's just the hurricanes that you need to worry about.

M.I.T. would be the holy friggin' grail, but I do not know if I am good enough. I'll probably have to take some tests so they can measure my competence in regards to their program, but I have certainly put it on my list.

Sounds fucking awesome! BUT, you didn't name any universities...
PS: FUCK HURRICANES! (never experienced one, there aren't any in Holland...)

I live in florida.
My main house is like a bomb shelter.
No fucking hurricane has ever fucked with my house and done damage.
You can stay with me if you like. |
Thanks for the offer, but I am going to get my own place when I go. Independence is bliss.
I regard to the aforementioned universities... the first two sound relatively impossible to get in. I doubt my grades are good enough to get in. USF looks amazing though, definitely on my list. Keep 'em coming guys ('n supposed girls)!
