How do I cheat?

well... i am new to cheat engine( hi everyone) i just had a problem opening the setup, everytime i open it it says "Acess violation at address 004096DA. Write of address 00401000". it just doesnt seem to work... =/ i don't know what to do please help me. _________________ +=6~KingLeonard~9=+
