|
|
Well i recently just installed Vista... and is there a program i can use to lock my computer so i am still connected to IRC, still on AIM/MSN, and other things.. etc.. etc...
The Normal Lock thing for vista Logs me off of EVERYTHING and even turns my computer into extreme hibernate mode

Not that I know of. I think sleeping it with the add-on of asking for a login would work. I have Vista and I kinda want this feature but there really isn't a clear answer to it, and I don't care enough to try what I just mentioned.

i had that too, you can't get out of it, and every time you pull out the power plug (the only solution), you run the risk of fucking up your hard disk.
as far as i kow there are settings for this in the configuration screen.

Uhhh, what? No need to use a program at all, whenever I press Windows Button (on my keyboard) + L, I get the user login screen without disconnecting or powering down anything. I have performance settings to max, I'm confident the changes I made in there is what "enabled" this feature.

It is probably possible to make a program that takes up the whole screen and you cant exit out till you enter a certain word ( password ) in a text box... hmmmm
