Should i get the HD4850 or ANOTHER 8800GT? Which one would be more beneficial?

I heard the HD 4850 is up 9900GTX level so get HD 4850.

9900GTX does not exist. The GTX280 defeats the HD4850 in every test (although it is far more expensive).

Dual 8800GTs are much faster than a single HD4850. The two are about the speed of a single GTX280 or 9800GX2, and are faster in some cases.

What resolution do you game at? If you game at high resolutions, the second 8800gt is probably the better choice. If you game at lower resolutions, SLi won't do much and you'd probably be better off with the 4850.
