ok, so we had a bunch of new parts for a new computer, motheboard, video card, etc.
but then found out the power supply was dead so we put back together the old parts just like before.
but, we get to a screen with a picture, and it never loads past it. its like the hard drive isnt being seen and it sconnected right. i wont have to worry about it once the new power supply comes in the mail, i have a different hard drive that is new.
any idea whats wrong with it?
p.s. im on my laptop atm

How far does your computer boot? If it passes POST and the BIOS loads, but then it gives you some sort of error, then it's a hard drive problem. If there is an error during the BIOS loading, then it can be a problem with the CPU or motherboard.

no it got to bios then had a picture before it loaded up (forgot what it said, mighta been graphics card)
now we messed with the plugs, thought we might had em the wrong places / ways, and nothing worked. put em back to normal, nothing comes up now. the computer runs, but the screen stays blank. nothing pops up or anything.
edit: more info, we couldnt ever even get to safe mode or anything
