Cheat Engine

I have never had a problem with Warcraft III before, but recently was brother was fucking around with the graphics controller and drivers and whatever. He said that after he changed all the stuff he returned it all to what it was before, however shortly after he had made these changes i was no longer able to play Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.

Whenever i start the game up the computer completely freezes and after ten minutes i get the error:
Warcraft III was unable to initialize DirectX. Please ensure that you have DirectX 8.1 or newer installed and that your display drivers are current.

I have DirectX 9, and i've never had a problem with it before. Does anyone have any solutions for me?
My chip type is Intel 82845G, when i go to control panel->Intel(R) Extreme Graphics it says I have 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphics controller. Im pretty sure that my driver version is up to date, so i dont really know what the problem is

Go to your graphic card vendor's site and download the latest version of their driver. Install it on your system and reboot. If the problem persists look into your Graphics Card Controller and look for anything that shouldn't be there.

Not quite sure. I don't screw with mine so I wouldn't know. Just look for anything you think is unusual. And I'm saying to reinstall the driver, even if you have the latest version.
