If I open up Cheat Engine 5.3 (Default Settings).
Click "Memory View".
Click "Tools > Pointer scan".
Click "Pointer scanner > Scan for Pointers".
Click "Cancle" on the "Pointerscanner scanoptions" window.
Click the Top Right "X" button (Close) on the "Pointer scan" Window.
Then repeat the
Click "Tools > Pointer scan".
Click "Pointer scanner > Scan for Pointers".
It says "Access violation at address 004EC371 in module 'Cheat Engine.exe'. Read of address 000000EC". (If you never attached to any process in the beginging). If you did attach to a process it usally says "Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000."
Basically, for me, its impossible to go back to the "Pointerscanner scanoptions" window after closing the "Pointer scan" window (doesn't matter if your attached to a process or not). To fix I have to restart "Cheat Engine 5.3".

I managed to reproduce the bug and found it after a while. (Had to do with memory cleanup and it's parent being destroyed but I didn't want the settings window to be destroyed as well) _________________
