I'm running off a 380W PSU (The one that came with the case) and I am able to run AMD dual core 2.5GHz proc, 8600GTS 512mb, 1 HD, 2 disk drives, and a wireless card off of it.

Hmm, if you say so... id go with a 550w to be safe...
ALSO NEVER USE A POWER SUPPLY THAT COMES WITH A CASE! EVER!
Madman, it may have worked for you, but there are thousands of people who lost everything from using crappy power supplys (that come with the case).

There are of course exceptions - sonata III, for example, has a VERY good power supply included. 500w, works like a charm! You're mainly right though.

I know that, and by showing you that I can run all of this off of a crappy PSU with bad efficiencies, rails, etc; it only enforces the fact that you don't need tons of wattage to run a decent system.
