whats the best media recorder such as fraps, camtasia, etc?

WaterJoe? You mean watermark? It's like freaking 10 pixels wide on the corner of the most scientifically-proven un-important part of a screen ever, the top left side.

Getting the right version, means the wrong version costs money.

I don't mean like cracks or anything. I mean that if you download the wrong one it will be the Pro version. The free one works fine.

I used HyperCam and the watermark makes you look like an idiot.

I suggest Camtasia... It has no water mark and it also has editing options. It is not free, but if you google around maybe it can become magically free!

Yea I use the latest Camtasia Studio. It comes with recorder, audio editor, video editor, player, theatre, scanner, and menu maker. It also has cool effects as well as an auto zoom-n-pan. And if you want pm me and I can give you a serial.

. Also unlike Camtasia Studio, it doesn't produce huge file, a few mins movie(approx. 15 mins) can be made in just 2-3mb.

Instant-Demo is nice for simple things. But I find it very tedious when I'm doing complex things.

I would like to find a nice one too, no real use for it for me any more though. Water marks aren't really a big deal...

I like snagit 8.
with region select, you get a close up view and such. you can also move the selected region 'n stuff.
