So like, is linux any good or what? I'm stranded in Ohio for a month with nothing really to do, so my dad is building me a computer, I told him that I am really low maintenance when it come to PCs, so he is building one that runs on Linux, so I am wondering, is it any good?

Yes you can. Make sure you get a Fedora or Ubuntu distro. If you plan to run .exes on it make sure wine is installed. For hacking I recommend having BackTrack 3 as a secondary OS on your system, though Fedora would be fine too(I prefer BackTrack because its made for the sole purpose of hacking and comes with a plethora of tools preinstalled).

You can run .exe on Linux. You just need to install wine. Also, most major programs are already in Linux... for the ones that are not, there are other things...

As the terminals make me cum hard...
