Just go on www.psode.com theres about a million of the same thing. All it requires is SendMessage.

This proves to me my theory is correct, i thought about SendMessage to Winamp handle too lol.

actually it can also be done with PostMessage. i never understood the diff between them.

SendMessage:
Sends the specified message to a window or windows. The SendMessage function calls the window procedure for the specified window and does not return until the window procedure has processed the message.
PostMessage:
The PostMessage function places (posts) a message in the message queue associated with the thread that created the specified window and returns without waiting for the thread to process the message.

True but it's safer to use SendMessage since you're getting the handle back.
