Yeah, I don't know how, but my boot.ini file is fucked up and my computer won't boot. How can I reboot it with my Window's CD? Please help, thank you. _________________

| When you try and boot up the computer, does it even start to load at all or does it get stuck like halfway through. You could go into safe mode, or use some of the F? keys that direct you to other places as you boot up. |

I tried every boot method possible, when I try and go into safe mode something comes up. It says "Windows could not start because of a computer hardware disc problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disc. Check boot path and disc hardware.
Blah blah blah."
If I hit enter, it'll restart. _________________

Hehehe... Thats not the boot.ini file being corrupt. My boot.ini was gone i think (i accidently ran a virus scanner and this certain program at the s ame time) and i could reach the login, but not login...
Anyways, i am sure he can go to his bois... His computer is having trouble finding his Hard Drive!
Check to see if that is your first boot priority in the BIOS (your Hard Drive), if yes, go into your computer and see if the IDE/SATA connection is strong from the hard drive to the motherboard. _________________

Say I wanted to go into safe mode, so I turn it on, hit F8 and I see the menu of booting choices, I hit enter to one of them and it takes me to a black screen with this message: "Windows could not start because of a computer hardware disc problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disc. Check boot path and disc hardware.
Blah blah blah."
